The future of Allsorts?
Following a meeting with Collete Ford, Judy Senior and Mike Hadley, there will be a special meeting at the Childrens' Centre, Chapel Lane, Swanage to discuss
the reinstatement of Allsorts. Collete is based at the Children's centre with 'Early Intervention' formally known as 'Children's Services'. She has someone in mind
who may be able to take over the group and also form a liaison with Anneliese Parker from The Getaway (The Youth Centre).
It would be great if you could make it as we know many of you are keen to meet up again. Also there are new parents who are interested in such a group and would appreciate drawing from your experiences and knowledge of having a child with additional needs/ long term health problems.
The meeting is on Monday 7th November at 6.30 pm. This means, for those of you who have children with additional needs aged 11 plus, you can drop them off at the same time at The Getaway. As you may be aware, Anneliese runs a session for children/young adults with additional needs on a Monday evening 6.30 - 8.30 pm.
If you can attend, and have not already been contacted by, and replied to, Judy, please email "mail@allsortsspecialneeds" to confirm whether you will be able to attend/not attend and if you would like your child/children to attend the youth club session.
